Karsan, which signed a distributorship agreement with Damera Bus Sales Canada Corp., a subsidiary of Mississauga Bus Group of Companies that is Canada's leading bus supplier and maintenance service provider, at the beginning of 2022, entered the country with e-JEST. 6 e-JEST buses, which were delivered to the city of Saint John in Canada in the past few days, started to serve at the dawn of new year. Having achieved the market leadership in Europe for the two consecutive years, e-JEST has begun to gain an important ground in this market as the North America's first electric minibus. Karsan’s Autonomous e-ATAK model which has been operating in Michigan State University, was also the first and only Level-4 driverless bus of the United States carrying passengers in real road conditions.
