On October 15, the SHACMAN Group Worldwide Partnership Conference & GlobeFest opened in Xi’an. Under the theme “Next Move, Next Horizon” and focused on global customers’ core requirements for transport efficiency and operating costs, SHACMAN took the stage together with industry-chain partners including Weichai, Cummins, Fast and Hande, showcasing its full range of vehicles, core powertrains, key components and integrated new energy solutions — a report card on its globalization progress, and a wider set of choices for customers to cut consumption, raise efficiency and lighten their maintenance burden.

The conference stressed that products are the foundation of co-created value. Building on its core strengths in heavy-duty trucks, SHACMAN will expand into medium- and light-duty trucks, mining trucks, special-purpose vehicles and new energy, continuously enriching its product portfolio and broadening its segment coverage to empower dealers in opening up markets and help customers reduce the total cost of ownership of their vehicles.

Expanding the Product Portfolio
A total of 94 vehicles are on display, spanning diesel, battery-electric, hybrid and hydrogen fuel-cell technology routes and covering light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, mining trucks and special vehicles to serve long-haul logistics, urban distribution and mining across overseas markets. SHACMAN continues to implement its localized product customization strategy and to accelerate product iteration. Three all-new platforms, X6000S, X5000S and H5000, made their debut, while upgraded products for markets such as Indonesia, Guinea and Saudi Arabia, and new diesel and battery-electric models for the EU market, were unveiled and delivered.

Industry-chain partners unveiled their own flagship products: Weichai’s high-thermal-efficiency H-platform powertrain and ET200 battery, Cummins’ M13 Euro VI engine, Fast’s K-series AMT transmission and Hande’s full-range axle solutions. These products will be matched to SHACMAN vehicles as a priority and undergo integrated calibration, rapidly translating advanced powertrain technology into vehicle-level advantages and bringing overseas customers more efficient, more reliable and better-value heavy-duty truck solutions.

Industry Chain Partners Present
New energy and new materials, meanwhile, turn technology into whole-life-cycle cost advantages. The X6000e 4×2 battery-electric tractor truck delivers a 400 km range and a battery swap in about five minutes; the X5000 8×4 hybrid dump truck saved 25 percent to 35 percent fuel versus diesel vehicles under charge-sustaining conditions in tests at an Indonesian mining site; and the “transporte” new energy full-life-cycle solution was launched, extending cooperation from the vehicle itself to energy supply and operational services. In lightweighting, 12 key structural components, including an innovatively applied magnesium-alloy lightweight frame and wheel rims, reduce vehicle weight by more than 500 kg and save 0.4–0.7 L of fuel per 100 km.

New Energy Full-Lifecycle Solution
From individual performance gains to whole-vehicle system optimization, SHACMAN lets vehicle-level requirements drive collaborative innovation across the industry chain, turning technological advantages into combined improvements in energy efficiency, reliability and operational economy: creating long-term operating value for customers worldwide.
