Blue Diesel presented its AdBlue supply capabilities alongside its latest O3 Eco fuel efficiency product, aligning its offering with tightening expectations around emissions control and operational efficiency in the commercial vehicle sector. Speaking at the event, Sharmila Kanniappan, regional business development manager at Blue Diesel, represented the company’s commercial and product positioning on site.
Blue Diesel was established in Malaysia in 2024, carrying forward AdBlue development linked to Singapore, where production has been in place for around three decades. The company positions itself as an official AdBlue supplier in Malaysia, supported by VDA certification, which it presents as a marker of product quality and compliance with recognised emissions standards.
The business focuses on AdBlue supply for diesel engines used across OEM applications, port operations, industrial machinery, and transport fleets. These segments remain central to demand patterns, shaped by regulatory frameworks and the operational realities of high-usage vehicle environments.
Attention also centred on O3 Eco, a fuel efficiency product designed for both diesel and petrol engines. Its application extends across passenger vehicles, motorcycles, heavy-duty trucks, and industrial equipment such as tractors, reflecting a broad approach to fuel management across mobility and machinery sectors.
Across the market, emphasis continues to move towards measurable fuel efficiency and emissions reduction. In sectors such as logistics hubs and port operations, where vehicle activity is constant, the balance between compliance and cost control remains a defining pressure point.
“Our focus at this event is to highlight our new product, O3 Eco, and how it supports fuel efficiency and emissions reduction across different vehicle types,” said Sharmila Kanniappan, regional business development manager at Blue Diesel.
“We are the official AdBlue supplier in Malaysia for this industry, and our product carries VDA certification, which reflects its quality and compliance,” she added.
The company framed its participation as a step towards strengthening awareness of emission-related and fuel efficiency solutions within the commercial vehicle ecosystem. The emphasis remains on practical application across operational environments rather than conceptual positioning.
Blue Diesel maintains that environmental responsibility sits at the centre of its direction, with continued emphasis on reducing emissions output and improving fuel efficiency across commercial and industrial transport ecosystems.
