Emerson announced today that the new GO real-time 4G/5G tracker was selected as one of the Top Innovative Products of 2022 at the THAIFEX Anuga Asia trade show. The product was among 42 finalists and 15 winners that were hand-picked from over 500 entries, which came from more than 1,500 exhibitors at THAIFEX Anuga Asia.
The products chosen demonstrated food and beverage trends and innovation. The Top Innovation Show Finalists were selected based on criteria ranging from their uniqueness in taste and packaging to their ingredients and creative presentation, as well as technology. The Emerson GO real-time 4G/5G tracker was the only technology finalist in the elite product group.
“Whether customers are transporting food, health care items or other valuable cargo, our technology provides real-time data, insights and intervention services that enable our customers to take meaningful action for their valuable in-transit cargo,” said Ivan Fullin, director of cargo solutions Asia for Emerson. “We are pleased to be recognized by our colleagues in Asia for this honor.”
Using cellular technology, GO real-time 4G/5G trackers can monitor in-transit conditions such as temperature, location, light and humidity. The technology enhances connectivity and access to data and enables visibility to temperature, humidity and location data, despite the ongoing transition within the cellular technology industry. To help ensure optimal connectivity around the globe, the trackers can connect using multiple modes (Cat-M, NBIoT or GSM) and have an in-use life of 20 days of operation. Combined with Oversight — Emerson’s cloud-based online software platform — trackers can be configured to notify users in real time via text or email if any deviation of temperature-sensitive conditions arise during shipment.
DCVT Jointly Delivering Fleet of Mercedes-Benz Actros Trucks to Samseau Transport
Daimler Commercial Vehicles (Thailand) Ltd (DCVT) jointly delivered Actros 2644 LS DNA trucks to Samseau Transport Co., Ltd. in Tak province as part of a fleet that will grow into 18 Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks.
Kijsetthi Machinery Co., Ltd., the authorized FUSO and Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus dealer in Suphanburi province, has been gradually delivered 12 units of Actros to the company in February and March 2022. Samsuea Transport provides logistics, delivery, and shipping services throughout Thailand and across the border into Myanmar. DCVT plans to deliver the remaining six Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks to Samsuea Transport soon.
“Our freight company has a large fleet of forwarders. The majority of the routes we take are very demanding on our trucks, covering long distances with steep accents and passing through the Mae Sot checkpoint into Myanmar,” said Mr Seree Kanchitsirikul, Founder of Highway Group and Samsuea Transport – affiliated companies for its logistics business. "We want to become a Thai company that operates a fleet of trucks that meet international standards like the Mercedes-Benz Actros."
Mr Ralf Kraemer, CEO of DCVT, says, "This fleet is one of the largest lot of Actros for DCVT’s dealer ever delivered to customers. It shows our success of Actros to penetrate the market and confidence in the upcoming new model of the new Actros, which will be introduced to public in the first half of this year. It will come with 'Service Contract' to ensure the customers about our aftersales service".
