FUSO Announces New eCanter Crane and Aerial Platform Applications

FUSO brand has announced new, complex crane and aerial platform applications for the all-electric light-duty eCanter in Europe in time for its participation at bauma 2025, the world’s largest construction and mining trade fair in Munich, Germany.
Two light-duty Canters are currently being displayed at the show-- which runs through April 13-- one with a roll off tipper and the other with flatbed body and crane. By the end of the year, however, cranes and aerial lift applications will be available for certain variants of the eCanter.
Also on display at bauma is an eCanter 7.49t with a three-way tipper. With a payload of 3.6 tonnes, this vehicle has a motorized power take-off (ePTO) that supplies the tipping hydraulics. The ePTO has expanded the number of body applications possible for the eCanter, which can be fitted with applications such as tippers, carrier cars, rear cranes, and garbage trucks. This offers a wide range of complex options to customers in heavy industries to use electric trucks.
The 6.0t Canter with a flatbed body and crane being shown at bauma demonstrates a typical application for the light-duty truck in the construction industry. With a standard cab and small external dimensions, this vehicle is maneuverable and is therefore ideal for demanding transport tasks and heavy loads on narrow roads. On the outdoor grounds of bauma 2025, FUSO is presenting a Canter 8.55t roll-off tipper.
For the 34th installment this year, more than 3 500 exhibitors from 57 countries are showcasing machinery and technology at bauma. At bauma 2022, FUSO displayed an eCanter with a roll off tipper for the first time. MFTBC has also displayed industrial engines at bauma China in the past.
