The Italian “maestro” will brighten the night of Bangkok on March 1st with an amazing jazz concert brought by the cooperation between Iveco and the Italian Embassy.

Four jazz players, two vehicles, to represent Italian excellence in the world at its best. Iveco 682 heavy duty truck and International Van of the year 2015 award 2015 winner Daily Van will be the “hosting guards” of Enrico Rava’s Quartet concert at Chulalongkorn University next Tuesday 1st March, at 7 pm, in the event proudly sponsored by Iveco in the framework of the Italian Festival in Thailand organized by the Italian Embassy in Bangkok.

One of the most renowned trumpet players in the world, Enrico Rava, born in Trieste, Italy, in 1939, began his career as a member of Gato Barbieri's Italian quintet in the mid-1960s; in the late 1960s he was a member of Steve Lacy's group. In 1967 Rava moved to New York City, and one month later became a member of the group Gas Mask, a group that had one LP on Tonsil Records in 1970. He has played with artists such as Carla Bley, Jeanne Lee, Paul Motian, Lee Konitz and Roswell Rudd. Chiefly an exponent of bebop jazz, Enrico Rava has also played successfully in avant-garde settings. His style may partly recall Kenny Wheeler's in its sparseness and lightness of tone, albeit Rava's is harmonically simpler.

In the 1970s and 1980s he worked with Pat Metheny, Michel Petrucciani, John Abercrombie, Joe Henderson, Richard Galliano, Miroslav Vitouš, Andrea Centazzo, Joe Lovano, Gil Evans and Cecil Taylor.Enrico Rava and his band will present their new album “Wild Dance”.

Right outside the Auditorium, the attendees will be welcomed by two brand-new Iveco vehicles: a Iveco 682 heavy duty truck 6x4 Tractor, 380 HP, and the New European Daily Van, recently awarded Van of the Year.

The new ‘MY IVECO’ app was specifically designed to provide customers in the Asia/Pacific markets a free, direct and easy way to stay in touch with the brand. All the content is maintained up to date and is specific to the individual user’s location.

With the Dealer Locator function, customers will easily find the dealer or workshop closest to their location – whether they are at their premises or away on a job. The News section is constantly updated, bringing instantly the latest news on Iveco, its products and its services, to the customers’ smartphones and tablets.

Useful functions, such as Contact Us that enables customers to contact Iveco within the app, complete the capabilities of ‘MY IVECO’, which will be further expanded in the future with new features such as a Product Support section, that will allow customers to get in touch with the closest Iveco dealer or service centre, product videos, augmented reality, 360 degrees product views and much more.

All the brochures in one place
The Kiosk section contains a complete library of all the brochures for the Iveco products available in the user’s market, such as the multi awarded Daily, winner of the Van of the Year 2015, the Eurocargo, Truck of the Year 2016 and the Stralis, Truck of the year 2013. Customers will be able to scroll through all the material available and read the brochures on their mobile device both on- and off-line. They will also be able to download the brochures in PDF format through a link the app will send to their email address.

Market specific content in local language
‘MY IVECO’ is customised to display content specific to the user’s market. It will be available in English across the region, while in China, Russia and Turkey customers will also have local language versions. ‘MY IVECO’ is available for free on the App Store and Android Market.

CNH Industrial has partnered with its sister company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles North America (FCAUS LLC) to provide vehicles for director Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film, which stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill is set for worldwide release beginning March 25, 2016, from Warner Bros. Pictures.

The unique alliance between FCA US LLC and Warner Bros. Pictures for this film includes the appearance of commercial vehicles from CNH Industrial brand Iveco. The heavy-duty Iveco Stralis Hi-Way makes its cinematic debut in a high-speed chase scene alongside the iconic Batmobile.
With much of the action in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice being captured in and around FCA own backyard of Detroit, product integration was organic to the filmmakers’ vision, and FCA and CNH Industrial extensive brand and product portfolio allowed the companies to address nearly every vehicle need for the film. In addition to Iveco Stralis heavy-duty commercial vehicle, the film fleetincludes Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, FIAT, Alfa Romeo and Maserati vehicles.
